I loved it I had so much fun on this tour. I loved our guide, she was fantastic and taking car of each one all the time. The landscape was stunning but the highlight for me was the wildlife: some Humpback whales and porpoises from far, bald eagle and a sea otter call Fred.
If im back for sure I will try the full day trip!

North Island Kayak made an incredible place even more amazing! One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! North Island Kayak made an incredible environment that kept us safe, well fed, always learing, and relaxed. Bree was an incredible guide with her knowledge on the history of the area, Indigenous knowledge, and plant/animal knowledge. Matt prepared some of the best tasting meals I have ever had that Bree always had prepared for us before we got hungry! Would recommend to anyone and likely will be back again in the future!

Awesome overnight Kayak trip Awesome overnight trip led by Bree and Becky. We had a fantastic time paddling for the first time together as a family of 3. Excellent kit provided, awesome food and snacks, plentiful and delicious. Comfortable camping. We saw bears in the wild, otters, sea birds, and sea life. Brought together by informative, friendly and hard working guides. Many thanks from the Bain family from Wales. UK.

A Whale of a Time! Our 3-day base camp kayak adventure was unforgettable. Witnessing a pod of orcas swim toward us as we hung out in a kelp forest on our paddle home was a magical experience we will always remember. Super comfy tents, amazing food, high-quality equipment and falling asleep to the blow of humpbacks in the bay. Special shout out to our guides Becky and Georgia who did an amazing job teaching us about the area, the wildlife and taking care of everything and everyone.

Unforgettable! Seeing orcas up close from a kayak will always remain one of the best moments of my life, the feeling is hard to put into words!
We camped in a secluded spot on a gorgeous island, and even though the weather wasn’t perfect, our guide Becky made sure we experienced the beauty and wilderness of these amazing places, while always keeping us safe and well looked after.
She’s a wonderful soul and the ideal guide for an adventure like this.

Amazing three day kayaking trip! Our three day kayaking adventure in the Johnstone Strait and Blackfish Sound has to have been one of the most incredible experiences in my life. Thank you to North Island Kayak for connecting us with our amazing guide Brad. He was the host with the most, such a great human, an incredible chef, full of humor, wisdom and stories, and took such good care of us ensuring we were all able to make the most of each moment it was all a dream come true! Cozy camps, quality equipment, delicious food, but more importantly Biggs and resident orcas, humpbacks, porpoises, eagles, curious seals, a quirky sea lion, a handsome local sea otter, and leaping sockeye galore. It was so sooo magical, I cannot wait until next summer to do it all over again!
