Booking and Cancellation Agreement
From July 1st through September 6th, we have a 4 person minimum for all multi-day tours. Outside of those dates, a minimum of 2 people is required, except for our nomadic tours, which need a 4-person minimum year-round. Should we be unable to acquire the minimum number of guests required for our tour, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule. Solo travellers should note that we have a maximum capacity of 2 single paddlers per trip. If you are traveling alone or are an odd number in your party, you or someone else in your party will be required to paddle a tandem kayak with someone from another party.
Please keep the following health and comfort considerations in mind:
- Due to the remote nature of the tour, we cannot accommodate guests with severe allergies requiring an EpiPen, strict celiac needs, or pregnant women.
- Let us know if anyone in your group has injuries or limitations, as the tour requires participants to paddle an average of 25 km per day, navigate uneven beach terrain, and sit for extended periods.
- Kayak Dimensions: Our tandem kayak cockpits measure 37.5″L x 18″W x 13.5″D. We encourage all guests to consider these dimensions to ensure a comfortable fit during the tour. For taller guests, please note that individuals over 6’4″ might find the fit somewhat restrictive.
Day trip guests are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. Failure to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to departure will result in a forfeited trip.
Should you need to reschedule your booking, please contact us at your earliest convenience. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request, but what we can do will be very much subject to availability and the proximity of your notice to the departure date. In the unfortunate event that you should need to cancel your booking, we require written notice of cancellation. Upon receipt of your cancellation notice, your fee will be refunded according to the following schedule:
60 days or more: Full Refund less $30 administrative fee per person
59 days or less: No refund
For wholesale bookings, your cancellation policy is as outlined in your contract.
For third-party bookings, refer to the cancellation policy outlined by the company through which you booked.
Refunds will be made in CAD$. Conversion rate will be determined by the issuer of your credit card. All prices are shown and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD$)
We strongly suggest you invest in travel insurance to protect yourself from any loss you may suffer due to our cancellation agreement.
